Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and piping design for customer orders throughout the entire order process.
• Create 3D process piping designs, skid designs, and modeling using Autodesk Inventor.
• Extract 2D manufacturing drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) for pipes, fittings, and frames.
• Perform costing based on BOM and provide estimates for sales support.
• Design local modules such as Pasteurizers, TPCIP, and Sterilizers, as well as Branded Processing Units (BPU).
• Develop detailed 2D drawings for tanks and vessels.
• Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality teams to ensure design integrity.
• Provide engineering support to other global sites and assist workshop assemblers with technical queries.
• Conduct FEA and frame analysis as required.

Requirements

• 6-12 years of professional working experience in mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D piping design software.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and MS Office.
• Extensive experience in hygienic piping design, skid design, and food manufacturing practices.
• Proven expertise in tanks and vessel design.
• Deep understanding of industry standards including ASME, SMS, 3A, and DIN.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in high-pressure environments.
