Mechanical Engineer QC

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and testing of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Monitor construction and installation activities to ensure adherence to approved designs and quality standards
• Identify and report non-conformances and recommend necessary corrective actions
• Collaborate with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Prepare detailed quality control reports and documentation for management review
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all project phases
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of related work experience in mechanical engineering, specifically within facility departments
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, quality control processes, and engineering standards
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME and ISO
• Proficiency with PTW, LOTO, and CAFM systems
• Working knowledge of FLS and HVAC mechanical systems
• Hands-on experience in preparing and implementing PPM schedules
