Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across the full product lifecycle, from new product introduction to in-service support and retirement.
• Ensure design conformance and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated aerospace environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to manage engineering changes and address material obsolescence.
• Review and interpret technical documentation and implement engineering changes through formal processes.
• Support redesign activities to meet technical, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Produce clear and accurate engineering documentation to support decision-making and compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in a design, manufacturing, or technical support environment.
• Background working within the aerospace industry or another highly regulated sector.
• Proficiency in working with technical drawings and understanding original design intent.
• Strong knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
• Solid understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Strong analytical approach to problem-solving and engineering decision-making.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) or design evaluation activities.
• Experience with formal change management processes.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks and Windchill.
• Experience performing engineering calculations.
