Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, and throughput
• Develop project specifications and evaluate theoretical designs in collaboration with other engineering disciplines
• Solve complex technical problems with manufacturing departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers
• Plan and design new production processes and produce detailed specifications and outline designs
• Manage projects using engineering principles and recommend modifications based on prototype test results
• Utilize mathematical modeling and computer-aided design to address cost, safety, and time constraints

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in the perforating industry
• Expertise in Perforating Hardware and Systems design
• Proven experience creating R&D Test Procedures to ensure design requirements are met
• Experience managing large-scope projects or a mechanical engineering design group
• Proficiency in Solidworks and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background in manufacturing
• Knowledge of tool and machine design
