About the Company
Neuralink is creating devices that enable a bi-directional interface with the brain to restore movement to the paralyzed, restore sight to the blind, and revolutionize human-digital interaction.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and production of hardware solutions for brain-computer interface devices
- Explore early device architectures and drive design direction
- Perform detailed 3D CAD and 2D drawing design with a focus on DFX
- Develop and execute test plans and electro-mechanical test systems for verification and validation
- Identify and tackle manufacturing rate limiters and yield issues
- Implement compliance with federal regulations such as GxP and 21 CFR
- Maintain design and manufacturing documentation for regulatory submission
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering industry experience
- Experience owning products from concept to production
- Strong grasp of engineering first principles
- Experience with DFX, conventional machining, and rapid prototyping
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in design and manufacturing of implantable electromechanical medical devices
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 10993, and 21 CFR standards
- Experience scaling complex low to mid-volume production lines
