Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the installation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, structural engineers, and other disciplines during project execution
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design and safety requirements
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes, standards, and environmental regulations
• Assist in the procurement of mechanical equipment and materials
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and value engineering efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the construction industry
• Proficiency in mechanical design software such as AutoCAD or Revit
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Knowledge of local regulations and international standards including ASHRAE, NFPA, and UAE codes
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines
