Mechanical Engineer– Mass Properties Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Perform technical investigations and provide solutions for the research, design, development, service, and manufacture of Airbus aircraft
• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute to the completion of project milestones
• Develop engineering plans and follow established schedules to ensure work accuracy and adequacy
• Coordinate with production leaders to facilitate smooth engineering change implementation
• Develop and revise SAP Workbooks and Mod Notices, including drawing revisions, Bill of Materials, and routing changes
• Work with multifunctional teams to ensure the timely design and delivery of production tools, shop aids, and templates
• Provide Andon support for pre-flight by resolving drawing and part number queries
• Raise Methods Change Requests (MCRs) to resolve anomalies in production processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 5 years of experience involving Engineering Change Incorporated requests (ECIN) for suppliers
• Experience maintaining databases through e-Room and shared drives
• Proficiency in developing and revising SAP Workbooks and Mod Notices
• Experience using Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), AMM, and CMM
• Ability to work closely with production and quality teams to implement restrictions or special instructions
