Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing products to meet evolving customer requirements for performance and quality
• Lead customized product designs by integrating new technologies and processes to satisfy performance, cost, and lead time demands
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to drive the progress of ongoing engineering projects
• Manage relevant technical documentation and engineering records
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability to ensure economic production efficiency
• Ensure all designs strictly comply with internal engineering standards and external regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of product design or engineering experience
• Proficiency in CATIA or other 3D design software
• Experience with the engineering change process (ECN)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good English communication skills, both oral and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the medical device industry
• Experience working with pressure vessels
• Experience working with sterilization equipment
