Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and review mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, for complex building projects
• Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure clash-free integration of mechanical systems
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment on-site to ensure adherence to technical specifications
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with local Indian engineering codes, safety standards, and project requirements
• Prepare detailed technical reports, material take-offs, and cost estimates for mechanical components

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the construction or heavy engineering industry, specifically handling MEP scope
• Strong proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP
• In-depth knowledge of Indian building codes (IS codes), HVAC load calculation, and thermodynamics
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on construction sites
