Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks including Legionella compliance, HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, and AHUs
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs to mechanical systems and plumbing
• Record all maintenance activities accurately on the CAFM system using mobile technology
• Liaise with the helpdesk and contract management team to coordinate repairs
• Induct subcontractors to ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota and conduct weekly site inspections

Requirements

• Full driving licence
• Relevant qualifications such as City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3
• Experience with renewables, heat pumps, air conditioning, and air handling units
• Proven experience with mechanical maintenance in commercial properties
• Proficiency in using mobile technology to update work systems
