Mechanical Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Perform and direct design of ductwork, piping, and equipment selection for HVAC systems
• Calculate heating and cooling loads, layout, and design ductwork and piping using energy modeling software
• Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Specify mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air handling units
• Review shop drawings for compliance with specifications and contract documents
• Interface with clients and project team members, including attending OAC meetings
• Conduct job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress
• Respond to RFIs and review change orders during construction documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Proficiency in engineering design programs such as Revit, Trane Trace, or Trane 3D Plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on international projects
• LEED accreditation
