Mechanical Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging design and validation for new products and programs
• Define packaging strategies aligned with business initiatives
• Perform advanced testing, analysis, and root-cause investigations
• Develop and approve packaging standards, specifications, and best practices
• Lead supplier engagement for packaging materials and tooling
• Drive cost-reduction, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor and technically guide junior Packaging Engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 6–10 years of relevant packaging engineering experience
• Strong understanding of global packaging material and design standards
• Strong understanding of packaging and transportation test procedures
• Proficiency in CAD, PLM, and engineering documentation
• Demonstrated experience leading packaging projects end-to-end
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
