Mechanical Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Drive the front-end technology and feasibility roadmap for Corded/Cordless Products
• Build proof-of-concept rigs and functional prototypes to stress-test ideas
• Work across mechanical design, sensors, software, batteries, and connectivity
• Communicate ideas through sketching, CAD layouts, 3D models, and physical prototypes
• Run design and engineering studies with a focus on consumer experience
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team culture
• Identify novel and inventive solutions for IP development

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a closely related field
• 2–4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or product design
• Hands-on experience designing electromechanical products
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo
• Experience with plastic part design (injection-molded, silicone, and rubber)
• Ability to build prototypes and run tests in a lab environment
• Strong communication and sketching skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in consumer goods or household appliances
• Experience designing sheet metal components
• Familiarity working with IP teams to identify novel solutions
