Mechanical Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative mechanical designs and solutions from concept through production
• Produce 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using PTC Creo
• Manage part numbers and engineering BoMs using Windchill
• Deploy mechanical engineering development practices including rapid prototyping, tolerance stack analysis, and FEA/CFD simulation
• Plan and execute mechanical engineering lab experiments to support design validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional, multi-site teams and third-party engineering partners
• Present technical findings in design reviews and problem-solving activities

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Mechanical engineering R&D roles within an industrial environment
• Proficiency in CAD design (Creo/Windchill preferred)
• Experience with FEA and thermal, pneumatic, or electro-mechanical testing
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and comprehend technical details
• Ability to perform complex electrical wiring and use test equipment for troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing industrial products from concept through production
• Proficiency in Multiphysics simulation tools such as ANSYS or COMSOL
• Knowledge of marking and coding equipment, specifically drop-on-demand inkjet technology
