Mechanical Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Perform designs of ductwork, piping, and equipment selection for HVAC systems
• Calculate heating and cooling loads using energy modeling software
• Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Specify mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air handling units
• Review shop drawings for compliance with specifications and contract documents
• Interface with clients and project teams during Owner, Architect, and Construction Administration meetings
• Perform job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress
• Assist in responding to RFIs and reviewing change orders

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Proficiency in Revit, Trane Trace, or Trane 3D Plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree from an ABET accredited program
• EIT/FE certification in the United States
• LEED accreditation
