Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software
• Perform site visits and inspections to collect data and monitor project progress
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, permits, and correspondence
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely task completion and adherence to quality standards
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and project schedules
• Perform calculations and data analysis to support engineering decisions
• Maintain organized and updated project files and databases
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Support the implementation of safety protocols and quality control measures
• Assist in preparing presentations and reports for clients and management

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering specifically with HVAC or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in civil engineering or a related area
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
• Experience with project management tools and techniques
• Excellent ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Brazil
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills in Portuguese and English (preferred)
• Availability to travel occasionally to construction sites in the region
• Availability to live in Montes Claros
