About the role
Responsibilities
- Design engineering solutions for mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware based on established engineering principles
- Provide tier 4 engineering support to investigate hardware-related field and factory issues and determine root causes
- Develop and implement parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, including validation of tolerances, reliability, and safety
- Use continuous improvement methodologies to enhance performance, reliability, and quality while reducing costs
- Serve as a technical interface for strategic suppliers
- Lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary project teams to develop high-quality solutions for complex products
- Collaborate with management, R&D, Operations, and Manufacturing regarding design status and issue resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 5 to 7 years of engineering experience, preferably in mechanical design
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Experience delivering technical solutions across all phases of the design cycle (concept through manufacturing)
- Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines and adapt to changing business needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
