About the Company

Fuse is on a mission to accelerate the world’s transition to fusion energy. Our core product is TITAN: an Impedance Matched Marx Generator (IMG), the most efficient and powerful machine of its kind.

Responsibilities

• Take 0 to 1 ownership of objectives in an early-stage fusion environment
• Create detailed engineering drawings, assembly procedures, and reports
• Participate in design reviews
• Perform FEA and verify results with hand calculations
• Work across different functional areas as needed to achieve mission goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience with SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or CAD modeling
• 1+ years of experience running FEA
• Ability and willingness for bi-coastal travel
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual)

Preferred Qualifications

• Design for manufacturing (DFM) experience
• Experience in data management
