About the Company
Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software to support the next generation of AI models.
Responsibilities
- Own mechanical systems end to end for AI-optimized, high-density data centers from concept to deployment
- Lead the design and evolution of mechanical and cooling systems at gigawatt scale
- Develop and maintain modular mechanical templates for rapid global deployment
- Serve as the technical interface between internal teams and external consultants
- Build supply-chain-aware solutions to ensure designs integrate cleanly and deploy fast
Requirements
- Experience owning mechanical design for data centers or high-density facilities
- Expertise in cooling systems for AI-class density including chilled water, CDUs, and direct liquid cooling
- Experience managing external consultants and bridging technical strategy
- Ability to design with supply chain and constructability in mind
Preferred Qualifications
- PE license
- Direct-to-chip or liquid cooling design experience
- Modular or prefab template program experience
- Proficiency in CFD tools such as 6SigmaET or Icepak
- Knowledge of ASHRAE TC 9.9
