About the Company

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive-scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software to accelerate the deployment of frontier compute.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and commission cooling and mechanical systems at data center sites
• Run equipment startup, functional testing, performance verification, and acceptance testing
• Support operational reliability of cooling infrastructure and respond to thermal events
• Resolve field conflicts between installation conditions and mechanical system requirements
• Monitor and validate thermal performance of cooling systems under live AI compute load
• Contribute to mechanical commissioning checklists, startup procedures, and maintenance run books

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience supporting or leading mechanical commissioning on data centers or high-density facilities
• Ability to diagnose performance shortfalls in chilled water, CDU, or direct liquid cooling systems
• Experience working alongside contractors and commissioning agents on active sites
• Ability to travel to deployment and operations sites up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Direct liquid cooling or CDU commissioning experience at AI-class rack densities
• Familiarity with thermal monitoring systems, CMMS platforms, and predictive maintenance
• Proficiency in CFD tools for operational troubleshooting and thermal validation
