Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering requirements for multiple fabrication projects simultaneously
• Communicate and resolve technical issues, scope conflicts, and specification questions with clients
• Coordinate with operations and fabrication teams to ensure project compliance and progress
• Maintain a thorough understanding of client project scopes, specifications, and drawings
• Oversee shop methods related to the fabrication of pipe spools
• Prepare daily production reports and expedite work within the operations department
• Utilize department standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure accuracy and quality

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in pipe fabrication
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of ASTM, ASME, and PFI codes
• Familiarity with various metallurgies
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP systems
