Mechanical Engineer (Edison Engineering Development Program)

Responsibilities

• Complete a three-year entry-level program featuring at least three technical rotational assignments
• Engage in diverse engineering roles including design engineering, systems management, finite element analysis, quality improvement, and product testing
• Develop technical problem-solving skills through advanced engineering coursework and formal presentations to senior leadership
• Work closely with manufacturing and product management to integrate designs for refrigeration, cooking, dishwashers, air conditioners, and laundry products
• Complete a company-paid Master’s Degree in Engineering through customized on-site classes at a local university

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or better in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to attend on-site classes for the required Master's degree program
• Ability to work on-site in Louisville, KY

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of two or more co-op or internship experiences prior to graduation
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• A strong work ethic and a desire for continuous learning
• Commitment to a long-term technical engineering career path
