About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete a three-year entry-level program featuring at least three technical rotational assignments
- Engage in diverse engineering roles including design engineering, systems management, finite element analysis, quality improvement, and product testing
- Develop technical problem-solving skills through advanced engineering coursework and formal presentations to senior leadership
- Work closely with manufacturing and product management to integrate designs for refrigeration, cooking, dishwashers, air conditioners, and laundry products
- Complete a company-paid Master’s Degree in Engineering through customized on-site classes at a local university
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or better in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to attend on-site classes for the required Master's degree program
- Ability to work on-site in Louisville, KY
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of two or more co-op or internship experiences prior to graduation
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- A strong work ethic and a desire for continuous learning
- Commitment to a long-term technical engineering career path
