Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Constructive development and further development of machines and systems
• Creation of 3D technical drawings and performance of strength calculations
• Coordination of conversion work with internal departments and external partners
• Management and coordination of development, conversion, and investment projects in mechanical and plant engineering
• Obtaining, evaluating, and ordering technical offers
• Project planning including resource management, interface coordination, cost, and time planning
• Presentation of project results to internal and external stakeholders
• Participation in international projects

Requirements

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering, technician with a focus on mechanical engineering, or comparable
• Several years of experience in design/construction
• Experience in managing technical projects
• Leadership experience and competence in employee development is desirable
• Proficient use of CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Antura)
• Experienced in applying the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working with high initiative
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Good German and English skills in speaking and writing
