Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive and own all design aspects of electro-mechanical systems from concept through bring-up and production
• Lead the mechanical design and troubleshooting of next-generation wafer-scale engine systems
• Work closely with thermal engineers to solve complex mechanical and cooling challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather design requirements and release deliverables including drawings and BOMs
• Evaluate materials and components to meet performance, schedule, and cost targets
• Work with vendors to quickly resolve DFM/A issues
• Perform detailed structural analysis and provide support for environmental and performance testing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in 3D solids modeling CAD (Solidworks preferred)
• Proficiency with PLM systems (such as Arena or Agile)
• Proficiency in CTF dimensioning and GD&T
• Ability to perform full Tolerance Analysis of complex systems and working knowledge of FEA
• In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes including sheet metal, machining, die-casting, injection molding, and 3D printing
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electronic liquid cooling
