About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support laboratory, shop, or field activities related to robotic and automated system development
  • Assist with engineering design tasks and problem-solving activities

  • Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to troubleshoot mechanical issues and support design improvements

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work approximately 24 hours per week on-site in Pittsburgh, PA
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and remain agile in a changing environment
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and attention to detail
