Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform designs of uncomplicated piping and equipment selection for HVAC systems under professional engineer supervision
• Prepare building load calculations and energy models using modeling software
• Create Revit/BIM modeling for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems from schematic design to construction administration
• Assist with editing project specifications and reviewing submittals or shop drawings
• Respond to RFIs and assist in the preparation of construction documents
• Perform job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Proficiency in Revit, Trane Trace, or Trane 3D Plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree from an ABET accredited program
• EIT/FE certification in the United States
• LEED accreditation
