About the role
Responsibilities
- Create innovative conceptual designs, technical solutions, and assembly drawings.
- Perform hands-on design and detailing of machine parts and assemblies.
- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.
- Support purchasing in evaluating offers and suppliers.
- Investigate equipment failures to diagnose faulty operation and recommend solutions.
- Specify system components to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Collaborate with teams to improve products and engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-4 years of related engineering experience.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/PDM and/or Autodesk Inventor/Vault).
- Ability to travel up to 15% by air or car.
- Demonstrated experience in project completion and ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
- OEM experience in machine component design.
