BeeX is building the world's most advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs). We specialise in providing autonomous robotics solutions to safeguard underwater infrastructure in the maritime, energy and defense sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement overall mechanical systems of Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs)
• Design mechanical components, mechanisms, and electronics housings in CAD
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation for structural integrity and stress failure assessment
• Draft 2D drawings for fabrication and assembly
• Assemble and test mechanical components in the workshop and real-world environments
• Participate in sea trials for testing and evaluation of mechanical designs
• Gather user requirements in collaboration with management and customers
• Establish test procedures for mechanical quality control and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 0-3 years of experience in mechanical product design from concept to delivery
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
• Experience with prototyping and manufacturing methods (3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, welding, composites)
• Experience with FEA and CFD simulation modelling (SolidWorks, ANSYS, OpenFOAM, or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with corrosion control methods
• Experience with thermal design methods
