Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robot structures and various mechanical mechanisms
• Design and develop plastic injection molded parts and various metal components
• Design and develop suspension systems for autonomous mobile robots to overcome rough terrain
• Collect and analyze robot driving data and prepare result reports

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in design, development, or mass production
• Proficiency in using 3D CAD tools for visualization and design implementation
• Understanding of plastic product molds, materials, and post-processing
• Experience and understanding of the overall development, evaluation, and mass production process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing service robots, AGV, or AMR
• Experience customizing third-party hardware or modules based on customer requirements
• Experience collaborating with hardware suppliers to review specifications and improve performance
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Robotics Engineering
• Business-level English communication skills
• Understanding of rapid prototyping methods and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of material properties and manufacturing processes
