Mechanical Engineer - Associate Program (Fall 2026)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the engineering team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software
• Tackle complex, meaningful projects of equal importance to full-time employees
• Contribute to hardware/software components that may eventually be deployed in space

Requirements

• Four-year degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or an equivalent technical degree (e.g., physics or applied math)
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch
• A strong passion for hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required to comply with export regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software
• Experience with analytical software for stress or thermal analysis
• Experience with electromechanical system design and specification
• Experience with control system modeling and design
