Mechanical Engineer Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Support the development of new technological bricks related to Valeo Power developments
• Assist in the development of tooling and the validation of technical standards
• Manage the transmission of technical information to various teams
• Work on the mastery and improvement of existing technological components
• Perform project monitoring and draft technical deliverables
• Collaborate with French, European, and global stakeholders

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a first-year mechanical engineering student
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Catia V5 or similar
• Strong foundational knowledge in general mechanics, including design, technical drawing, and AMDEC
• Understanding of production processes and materials science or metallurgy
• Fluency in English to communicate with international teams
• Practical mindset and technical curiosity; personal experience in mechanics (auto, moto, or bike) is a plus
