About the role
Responsibilities
- Design cogeneration and renewable energy plants, including biogas, biomethane, and photovoltaic systems
- Develop technical P&ID and functional diagrams
- Prepare mechanical project reports and technical documentation
- Create preliminary, definitive, and executive drawings and layouts
- Define specifications for high-value components such as motors, compressors, and heat recovery units
- Conduct field inspections and site visits
- Participate in R&D activities and regulatory updates
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2-3 years of experience in mechanical or plant design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
- Strong knowledge of technical drawing standards and P&ID symbology
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel for field inspections and site activities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the energy sector (cogeneration, biogas, biomethane)
- Knowledge of industry regulations such as PED and ATEX
- Ability to read process schemes and PFDs
- Basic knowledge of the Aspen software package
