Mechanical & Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Assembly and integration of mechanical and electrical components for mechanisms, safety devices, pyrotechnic assemblies, and propulsion systems
• Installation and soldering of wire harnesses, sensors, igniters, and electronic components according to aerospace standards
• Execution of quality controls and functional tests on assemblies to ensure compliance with technical specifications
• Handling of energetic and hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations, permits, and work instructions
• Creation, maintenance, and implementation of SOPs for assembly, integration, and testing processes
• Performance of mechanical tests and validations with precise documentation of results and reporting of deviations
• Support in failure analysis and corrective actions in collaboration with Engineering and QA teams
• Participation in the continuous improvement of assembly and integration processes

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or technical degree as a mechanic, electrician, or mechatronics technician
• At least 1–2 years of practical technical professional experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Sound practical experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience in wire harness assembly, soldering, and high-quality electrical installations
• Experience handling energetic, pyrotechnic, or other hazardous materials or willingness to learn
• Experience with quality control, functional testing, and documentation standards in a production environment
• Ability to consistently apply SOPs in a detail-oriented and safety-critical environment
• Experience in medical devices, pharma, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries
• High attention to detail and a structured, disciplined, and methodical way of working
• Very good German or English skills
