Smith Engineering Hyperloop (formerly Queen's Hyperloop Design Team) is an internationally acclaimed student team that seeks to innovate the future of green transportation. The team consists of Technical, Research and Development, Business and Logistics, and Tunneling and Boring branches.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of all mechanical systems
• Oversee the Mechanical Subteam and manage subsystem leads and team members
• Coordinate project planning and technical execution
• Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and competition requirements
• Facilitate design reviews and support manufacturing and assembly activities
• Maintain technical documentation and promote engineering best practices
• Work closely with other technical branches to ensure successful system integration
