Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and assembly definitions for engine components
• Utilize CAD modeling and drafting to support additive manufacturing and product development
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturing producibility and geometric tolerances
• Manage multiple projects concurrently to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements
• Maintain and update engine assembly models and technical documentation
• Support technical initiatives related to additive manufacturing technology

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a drafting related field with 2+ years of experience, or 5+ years in a CAD/product definition role
• Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter
• Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y145)
• Experience with 3D printing software such as EOSPRINT or Concept Laser WRX
• Experience with model meshing and analysis
• Ability to work in a production/engineering lab environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NX Surfacing or Mechanical routing
• Familiarity with DMLM printing machines
