Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and define assembly and manufacturing tooling for complex parts and sub-assemblies
• Perform associated mechanical studies including kinematics, interfaces, dimension chains, and functional tolerancing
• Propose robust and optimized technical solutions integrating industrial constraints (quality, cost, deadlines, manufacturability)
• Participate in design reviews and ensure technical consistency of studies
• Support industrialization phases and tooling setup in the workshop
• Collaborate closely with methods, production, quality, and calculation teams

Requirements

• Bac+2 to Bac+3 degree in mechanics
• 2 years of experience in mechanical design in a demanding industrial environment using Creo
• Mastery of mechanical assembly design and tolerancing
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and workshop constraints
• Proficiency in Catia V5 is an asset
• Autonomous and rigorous with a methodical approach to studies
