Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and technicians in the design and construction of mechanical systems
• Gather requirements and understand technical constraints for various projects
• Collaborate on the design of manufacturing jigs and apparatus
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Use computer software to develop designs and maintain detailed records
• Perform quality checks and maintain high attention to detail in all mechanical tasks

Requirements

• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, systems, tools, and equipment
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in CAD programs for part design
• Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose and implement solutions
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
