About the role
Responsibilities
- Focus on design areas including module enclosure, adhesives, plastic components, high current conductors, and communications harnessing
- Interface with thermal and structural analysts to inform design decisions
- Drive rapid prototyping and testing culture
- Support validation of products from concept through field deployment
- Ensure smooth transition from product maturation to mass production
Requirements
- Pursuing a mechanical engineering, engineering physics, or equivalent degree
- Strong grasp of mechanical and thermal engineering fundamentals
- Basic understanding of power electronics and electrical fundamentals
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software
- Experience building prototypes
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- CATIA V6 or Siemens NX experience
- Familiarity with simulation or analysis tools such as MATLAB, FEA, or CFD
