Responsibilities

• Prepare weight distribution summaries and verify compliance with applicable transportation regulations
• Collaborate with sales teams to benchmark competitors and develop innovative trailer designs
• Generate detailed designs and validate them using SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Ensure all designs comply with CMVSS/FMVSS and other relevant standards
• Support production teams by providing clear guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and actionable design improvements
• Maintain proactive and professional communication with internal stakeholders and clients

Requirements

• Expertise in steel fabrication processes (cutting, forming, machining, welding)
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Strong understanding of design for manufacturability for steel fabrication
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years in mechanical design
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office
