Mechanical Design Engineering Student

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design following training in Siemens Nx CAD software and geometric tolerancing
• Create 3D CAD models along with associated technical drawings and documentation
• Participate in team meetings and collaborative brainstorming sessions
• Develop mass budgets and parts lists
• Support purchasing and manufacturing activities

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering program (must have completed second year)
• Completed coursework in 3D modelling
• Ability to pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
• Must provide both a Resume and an academic Transcript upon application
• Proactive attitude with strong communication skills and a desire to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of the third year of a Mechanical Engineering bachelor's program
• Previous technical internship experience
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and technical drawing
• Academic GPA greater than 3.0/4.0
