Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test electronic hardware enclosures for Electronic Engine Controllers and Engine Health Monitors
• Develop and understand component requirements in collaboration with internal and external customers
• Perform CAD modeling and create detailed manufacturing drawings
• Execute tolerance stack-ups and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Conduct FEA and thermal analyses to ensure design integrity
• Test mechanical designs to demonstrate compliance with required performance standards
• Work within a cross-functional, agile team under the guidance of a Senior Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Graduation by August 2026 or prior
• Knowledge of control system design and requirements management
• Knowledge of testing, data analysis, and simulation/modeling tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Indianapolis, Indiana
• US work authorization (no sponsorships available)
