Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems based on client specifications and develop complex mechatronic systems in collaboration with the architecture group.
• Select technical solutions that provide the best performance-to-cost ratio.
• Write calculation notes, design justifications, and participate in design reviews.
• Define validation tests and verify the technical and qualitative compliance of systems.
• Create assembly drawings, sub-assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of materials (BOM).
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, planning, and production departments, as well as external suppliers and clients.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and internal development processes.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in a relevant field.
• 5 to 10 years of successful experience in the design of complex mechanical systems.
• Mastery of mechatronic technologies (mechanical guidance, motors, encoders, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Strength of Materials (RdM) and structural dimensioning.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and treatments.
• Proficiency in CAD software, ideally SolidWorks.
• Mastery of ISO dimensioning standards.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of automation, control systems, and system dynamics.
• Experience with pneumatics, optics, or lasers.
• Familiarity with metrology.
