About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop component strategies and execute advanced development for EV and e-POWER electric components
- Design housing components with a focus on rigidity, structural strength, and durability/reliability
- Design cooling and lubrication systems and components for coils and gearboxes
- Design control systems for cooling and lubrication electronic components
- Plan internal component placement and vehicle mounting layouts
- Manage cost engineering and development planning for assigned projects
Requirements
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering, including mechanical drawing and mechanics of materials
- Experience in the product development lifecycle, including specification selection, design, prototyping, experimental evaluation, or mass production development
- TOEIC score of 600 or higher
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes for steel, aluminum alloys, and polymer materials
- Specialized knowledge in metallurgy, polymers, heat transfer, electrical engineering, or fluid dynamics
- Ability to independently create technical reports based on design studies and experimental results
- Proficiency in English (TOEIC 730+) for communicating with overseas engineers in global meetings
