Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Model parts and assemblies using CATIA V5/V6 following internal standards and design guidelines
• Perform and validate definition studies including dimensioning, tolerancing, and geometric analyses
• Prepare production documentation such as bills of materials, assembly drawings, and detail drawings
• Collaborate with Design, Industrialization, and Supplier teams to ensure manufacturability
• Provide technical support regarding perceived quality and assembly issues (gaps, flushness, machinability)
• Participate in design reviews and propose technical and cost improvements
• Write technical deliverables and report to the studies manager

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+5)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design using CATIA
• Advanced mastery of CATIA V5/V6 for 3D modeling and drafting
• Skills in tolerancing, dimension chains, and geometric analysis
• Knowledge of industrialization processes and tooling constraints
• Professional technical English is appreciated
