Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Pilot design studies ensuring respect for technical objectives, deadlines, and deliverable quality
• Design mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications
• Control, verify, and validate definition plans produced by the Design Office
• Propose technical solutions adapted to functional, industrial, and economic project constraints
• Prepare definition files and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Ensure compliance with design rules, functional dimensioning, and drafting standards
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical project follow-up with various stakeholders
• Provide technical expertise to guarantee the quality and feasibility of developed solutions

Requirements

• Bac+2/Bac+3 in mechanical design or Bac+5 in mechanical engineering/industrial product design
• Significant experience, ideally 8 years or more, in mechanical design and project management within a Design Office
• Mastery of mechanical design principles, plan reading, and validation
• Knowledge of functional dimensioning rules and definition file preparation
• Ability to coordinate technical projects and propose innovative solutions
• Eligibility for security clearance
