About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop concept designs for mechanical systems and equipment through analysis, experiments, and predictive examinations
  • Perform 3-D CAD modeling and create sales drawings
  • Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and engineering drawings to ensure traceability
  • Structure Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routings within the ERP system
  • Assist in building, debugging, and testing new or modified equipment
  • Define safety standards and operational procedures to ensure reliable production performance
  • Provide technical support for failure investigations and bid responses

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical design, equipment development, and engineering analysis
  • Proficiency with CAD tools such as Inventor or AutoCAD
  • Experience with FEA using NASTRAN
  • Experience designing and testing mechanical systems, machinery, or production equipment
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering data and develop practical design improvements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across engineering, sales, and production teams
