Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, improve, validate, and release mechanical tooling for production processes
• Manage machinery design, upgrades, integration, and implementation
• Implement mechanical projects such as Cobots and process automation
• Define and update plant procedures for reviewing and releasing tooling and fixtures
• Administrate the mechanical drawing database and provide technical support
• Maintain and update mechanical drawings

Requirements

• Professional Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design or Machining Shop activities
• Proficiency in Solidworks
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
• Understanding of machining materials and treatments
• Ability to travel and support after hours if needed
