Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop 3D mechanical concepts and comprehensive part lists for customized machines and equipment
• Manage engineering changes in coordination with cross-functional departments
• Collaborate with teams to ensure designs meet technical, functional, and quality requirements
• Manage product data using PDM systems, specifically Creo Parametric and Windchill
• Define and apply tolerance chain specifications and perform 2D/3D stackup calculations
• Conduct on-site acceptance testing and validation at supplier facilities
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and specifications according to industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Experience in machine design, equipment development, or similar mechanical engineering roles
• Proven expertise with 3D CAD software, specifically Creo Parametric
• Demonstrated experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance chains
• Fluent in spoken and written English
