Mechanical Design Engineer Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical products, including machines, inverters, and vehicle thermal systems
• Perform 3D modeling, assembly design, and creation of primary and assembly drawings
• Conduct design justification through mechanical calculation and simulation
• Manage technical data and documentation using PLM systems
• Contribute to innovation projects, including the integration and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Catia V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE
• Strong skills in mechanical design, calculation, simulation, and functional dimensioning (tolerance stacks)
• Technical proficiency in English
• Proactive mindset with a hands-on, practical approach to technical challenges
• Willingness to travel as required by the role
