About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform 3D and 2D design of Car Body structure parts and sub-assemblies
- Read, understand, and produce definition plans
- Design sheet metal parts while respecting manufacturing and assembly constraints
- Conduct packaging and space envelope studies (volumetric and surface)
- Define and apply manufacturing tolerances
- Update and manage data within PLM / 3D Database tools
- Ensure design consistency with industrial processes such as welding and bolting
Requirements
- Technical training in mechanics or industrial design
- Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience in mechanical design and sheet metal
- Proficiency in 3D design using CATIA V5
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, plastics, machining)
- Knowledge of assembly processes (welding, bolting)
- Experience with PLM environments (ENOVIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, or 3DLean)
- Fluency in French and technical English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of metallic materials
- Experience with space allocation models
- Expertise in volumetric and surface design
